Producer｜Line Producer

Chengxiao (Cheung) is a producer who has rich experience running film sets.

He produced Buried Above Ground (13 mins) an arthouse horror film, selected in the New York Short Film Festival and New York International Short Film Festival in 2023.

Cheung interned in Poly Film Investment Company and cooperated with script and projects examination in 2023. In 2021, he interned in Emperor Film Group and examined projects from BJIFF and SIFF as well as helped with the distribution of "Cliff Walker", a Chinese crime film with $2M box office.

Cheung has produced more than 20 short films in the last 3 years with different budget level ranging from $3K to $50K as well different genres, including Checkmate (drama), Cycle (comedy), One of Many (crime), Beyond the Skyline (biographical), and Red Wedding (horror).

He started his career as a line producer on Beyond the Prairie, a esoteric arthouse short film. Cheung recently worked as a location coordinator assistant on the feature Ghostbusters: Afterlife and has produced a music video Relationshit which is in development of copyright clearance.
